How To Pick a Good Driving School

www.adeptdrive.co.uk Most people do not ask the right questions when choosing a driving school they only ask the price.
The questions you should ask are

1) Do you only use fully qualified Instructors not trainees?

2) What are your Pass Rates?

3) What is your hourly rate?

If you ask these questions and you get the right answers you should get a decent driving school.
The answer to question 1 should be we only use fully qualified Instructors.
The answer to question 2 should be 60-70% the national average is only 43% the best driving schools
only achieve 70% if you get a higher rate quoted I would be sceptical.
The answer to question 3 would depend on the area you live in, the average price in our area ranges from £20/hr - £22/hr just check prices in your area.
Do not assume if you pay more you will get a better instructor, for instance if you chose a national driving school you would pay more, but this would be because of their overhead costs, staff, call centers, managers etc, it is not because their Instructors are better in many cases you could get a trainee Instructor and still pay full price. Only one national driving school uses fully qualified Instructors and the name begins with A, the others do use trainees, B uses some trainees R is in fact owned by a driver training college so will have more trainees. You will find some very good local driving schools at a better price but do ask the above questions who ever you phone this should ensure you get a pretty good Instructor.
